Out of love, respect, and joy for children we made changes to our church Trunk or Treat time this year. Children still dressed up, smiled, and enjoyed songs, food, and candy together in a more intimate and private outdoor setting. It was different this year, yet this dad felt good about my kids, their homemade costumes, and the friends they enjoyed in a safe setting. This year has brought many challenges, but our children are worth the effort to make changes.
