Prayer- “Dear Heavenly Father, with deep appreciation we approach you in thanks for the blessing of godly fathers. Fathers bear many unseen burdens while being valuable as mentors, guides, and providing a spiritual example to their families. We Pray that our love and appreciation for them will always be evident through our words, actions, and thoughts. As we draw our attention on the words of this devotional, may we resolve to give honor, love, and respect to all those who hold the position of fatherhood and who lead their homes. In your Son’s name.”

 

 

Proverbs 4:1-5– Hear, O sons, a father’s instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight, for I give you good precepts; do not forsake my teaching. When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother, he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
